Move the anchor point when transforming

When you turn or scale something, it goes round its anchor point. Drag the anchor to a shoulder to swing an arm, or to a corner to scale from there.

How to do it

1. Choose the Transform tool.
2. In the bar along the bottom, tap Anchor Point to show it.
3. Drag the anchor where you want it.
4. Turn or scale. It goes round the anchor.

Settings

Anchor Point

Shows the anchor. Rindraw remembers whether it's shown.

Back to the Middle

Puts the anchor back in the middle.

Uniform, Freeform, Distort, Warp

The transform modes. Warp can use an Advanced Mesh.

Tips

• Type an angle into the bar to turn by an exact amount, or use Rotate 45° and the 1° buttons.
