Mostly cut off
A TV shows the whole banner. A computer shows a wide strip across the middle, and a phone shows less again. YouTube promises only the middle 1235 × 338 pixels of a 2048 × 1152 banner, which scales to about 1544 × 423 in the middle of a 2560 × 1440 one. Put the channel's name there; let the rest be background that can be cut.
Setting it up in Rindraw
Choose New Drawing › Custom Canvas, in pixels, and enter 2560 × 1440. Draw a rectangle of about 1544 × 423 in the middle on its own layer as a guide, and hide it before you export.
Export as JPEG to stay under 6 MB; a PNG this size can go over.
