Guides › Switching to Rindraw

Moving from ibisPaint to Rindraw

ibisPaint shares any artwork as a layered Photoshop file, and Rindraw opens that with its layers, blend modes, clipping and masks.

Step by step

  1. Share it as a PSD with its layers. In ibisPaint's gallery, tap the artwork, tap Share, and choose PSD (Preserved Layers). The other choice, PSD (Flattened Layer), is one layer: that's for printers.
  2. Send it on. Choose Rindraw in the share sheet, AirDrop it, or save it to Files.
  3. Open it in Rindraw. Send it to Rindraw with AirDrop or the share sheet, or save it to Files and choose Import in Rindraw's gallery, where you can pick a whole stack of files at once. Each file becomes a drawing of its own.

What comes with you

Rindraw reads each layer's pixels, name, opacity, blend mode, visibility, clipping, locks and mask, in their groups, at the file's resolution and in its color profile.
