Rindraw vs Infinite Painter

Compared in October 2026. Both apps change. If something here is out of date, tell us and we'll fix it.

Infinite Painter is a capable painting app with a deep brush engine, for less money. Choose Rindraw if you want to bring Procreate or Photoshop brushes with you, keep your drawings as files on all your devices, and change lines after you've drawn them. Stay with Infinite Painter if you draw on Android, or love its brushes and tools as they are.

The main difference

Infinite Painter is a bitmap painting app2: a stroke becomes pixels, though you can turn a stroke into an editable shape1. Its projects live inside the app on each device, and you export them one at a time to move or back them up2.

Rindraw keeps every stroke as the path your Pencil took, on every layer and with any brush, so you can recolor a line, bend it or export the drawing bigger and it stays sharp. Your drawings are files, in iCloud Drive if you like, so the same library is on your iPad, iPhone and Mac.

Where Infinite Painter is better

Where Rindraw is different

Moving from Infinite Painter

Export each project from Infinite Painter as a layered PSD1, then open it in Rindraw with AirDrop, the share sheet or the Files app: its layers come in with their names, opacity, blend modes and masks. Your Infinite Painter brushes don't carry over, but Rindraw comes with its own and imports Procreate and Photoshop ones. Step by step: moving from Infinite Painter.

Moving from another app? See how to bring your work over from Procreate, Clip Studio Paint, ibisPaint, MediBang Paint, Sketchbook, Adobe Fresco, Tayasui Sketches, ArtRage, Rebelle, Corel Painter, PaintTool SAI, Krita, or Photoshop.
